Tseung Kwan O Hospital, situated in Hang Hau, is a public facility that offers secondary care services designed to provide high-quality healthcare to residents of the Tseung Kwan O and Sai Kung districts. Officially opened in 1999, the hospital underwent an expansion in 2013, which improved its inpatient, specialist outpatient, day surgery, and ambulatory care facilities. To enhance the efficiency of clinical services, Tseung Kwan O Hospital operates a Chinese Medicine Clinic in collaboration with the Haven of Hope Christian Service and Hong Kong Baptist University, which has been in operation since 2006. Additionally, the hospital boasts a new Ambulatory Surgery Centre that offers a range of specialist outpatient services and day care, aimed at improving the quality and accessibility of healthcare services.
