The Haven of Hope Hospital, situated in Tseung Kwan O, was established in 1955 by Norwegian missionary Annie Skau Berntsen. It is the first government hospital in the region and has evolved into a specialized rehabilitation facility. The hospital currently has 425 beds and operates under the auspices of the Haven of Hope Christian Service and the Hospital Authority, primarily offering subacute medical care, comprehensive rehabilitation, and long-term care. At present, the expansion project of Haven of Hope Hospital has been completed and will be put into service once the interior renovations are finalized. Additionally, the Haven of Hope Sister Annie Skau Holistic Care Centre is undergoing an expansion plan, which is expected to be completed in 2025, with operations commencing in 2026.
