Hong Kong Central Library
The Hong Kong Central Library, located on Causeway Road in Causeway Bay, was established in May 2001. As the central hub of the Hong Kong Public Library system, it is managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department. It is the largest public library in Hong Kong, offering the most extensive services and the largest collection. The library has 12 floors, covering an area of 9,400 square meters, with a total floor area of 33,800 square meters and a collection exceeding 2,500,000 items.
The Hong Kong Central Library has renovated its public address system to meet the requirements for time-based notifications, public address paging, and voice evacuation.
